Freaky picture! Great episode guys…and thanks for the plug for the new Children’s Ministry Talk podcast. Your topic of “Things I wish someone had told me” is especially timely, as we’re planning to cover a similar topic in our next episode.

This past year I was interviewed on the topic of “What do you need to know the first three years of ministry?” The substance of that conversation is over at http://www.childrensministryarchive.com/?p=125 for anyone who might be interested.

I also wanted to mention….in response to the question from the listener who wanted to know how to setup a podcast…CMUO offers a great 1 month (1 credit) elective course called “Advanced Web Communications” that covers social bookmarking, blogging, podcasting, and collaborative authorship within children’s ministry. Those who take the course learn step-by-step how to setup a blog and podcast for their children’s ministry, among other things.

This course is for anyone who wants to learn more about these new web communication tools. So, if you want to get some help getting started podcasting, consider signing-up for CMU210 – Advanced Web Communications. More details are at http://www.cmuo.com/admissions&registration/coursedescriptions.htm#cmu224

Or, if you have more questions, feel free to drop me an email: jason.rhode@cmuo.com

    Hi Super Dave and Jason,

I am from Australia, and have been teaching scripture for 8 years. I have been energised from your podcasts for this coming year of teaching the kids. It’s so great to hear from people who can think outside a curriculum and engage kids with fun and the power of God.
I love hearing about your experiences, but I was looking for your show notes and hadn’t located them yet. The object lessons and games you mentioned would be fantastic to get a hold of as I am always looking for new ideas.

    Keep the podcasts coming,

    Kate.

I just started listening to your podcast and am really liking it. However, I can’t stream this episode. The audio file goes for about 13 seconds and then stops. Any ideas what’s wrong?
